A CHRISTMAS STORY

Carolyn's English classes were given the assignment during their Christmas party to write a story in English incorporating the following: Santa Claus, ten lords a-leaping, Bill Clinton, Dracula, Madonna, Funar (Mayor of Cluj), a pig, a bag of potatoes and a palm tree. The students divided into four groups and came up with these stories.

Once upon a time, in the shade of a palm tree, Santa Claus, during his summer vacation, was thinking about a few well-known people in the world. He was thinking about how to surprise them. He wanted to give them as present useful things. So - he started to watch them - if they're good or not. Nobody was good enough this year - they don't deserve not even a bag of potatoes. Bill Clinton was involved in a sex scandal, he was considered a pig, even by Madonna. Funar was digging too many holes in Cluj - he was a bad boy too. So Santa packed him in nice green paper and gave him to Dracula. So, Santa done a good job and his ten elves were dancing happy like ten lords of leaping.

Bill Clinton arrive as Santa Claus with ten lords a leaping at Dracula's castle, where Funar lives with pigs. He ask Madonna for Christmas present, but he got just a bag of potatoes. He was eating potatoes under the palm trees very sad. He was thinking about Madonna and eating potatoes.

Santa Claus and ten lords a leaping came down on the earth with reindeer to give gifts for a people who was good on the earth. First gave a pig to Funar in Cluj because both are very "intelligent" and spiritual dirty specimen. Second - gave a bag of potatoes to Billy and Madonna. Instead of sex they will stay at home with their family. Finally - under a palm tree sit and play cards Dracula and Funar. The winner takes it's all: the normal life.

A day after Christmas Eve, Bill Clinton has sit/stayed under a palm tree and listened to Madonna's song. Once appeared Santa Claus riding a pig and having a bag of potatoes on his back. He arrived with ten Lords a leaping and wanted to visit Funar in Dracula's country to give him the bag of potatoes as a gift for Christmas.
